Higher education quality and compliance

Higher education quality and compliance professional with more than three years’ experience across three TEQSA-registered providers. I coordinate accreditation and reaccreditation submissions from the documentation an application needs, through the committee approval sequence, to a submission-ready package for TEQSA. I prepare CRICOS applications on the same basis. Alongside that I benchmark courses and policies, maintain risk registers, act as secretariat across the governance structure from Board of Directors and Academic Board down, and keep the colleges’ published information compliant with National Code expectations.

Accreditation Works

Course development and accreditation

New course development and reaccreditation, coordinated under the Quality Manager’s lead. Each application goes from the documentation it needs, through the committee approval sequence, to a submission-ready package for TEQSA.

Work independently with academic and professional teams to bring each application to TEQSA submission.
Determine the full evidence set an accreditation application requires, brief each academic and professional staff owner on what their document must demonstrate, set and hold the deadlines, and check each document against the Standards as it comes in.
Engage and facilitate external subject matter experts for independent course reviews, and incorporate their findings into the submission.
Prepare reaccreditation and CRICOS reregistration submissions, mapping course and institutional documentation against the Higher Education Standards Framework and assembling the supporting evidence.

Governance Hall

Governance and secretariat

Secretariat at every level of the governance structure, from Board of Directors, Academic Board and Audit and Risk Committee through to standing committees.

Set the governance submission schedule: which document goes to which committee, in what sequence, and by when, so approvals land in the order TEQSA expects.
Prepare agendas, collect papers from members and circulate the full meeting pack ahead of each sitting.
Take minutes, record resolutions and follow up actions to closure.
Maintain the compliance records, action registers and reporting trackers used by executive and academic leadership.

The last stop before lodgement. Every document in the complete submission pack is tested for completeness, internal consistency and alignment to the Standards.
